Relax

Student will return to class with a pass
Student advocates for a break OR staff member encourages de-escalation using the Regulation Station
STudent Remains Dysregulated

Teacher sends student to the front office
Counselor meets with student. Teacher is notified
Students have access to various tools to help de-escalate, regulate, and get back to the Yes Brain
Student will sign in at the kiosk and a timer will be set

Guided Reflection
Informal Restoration
(Guided Reflection)
Teacher will engage student in a restorative chat upon their return to class the next day
Student participates in a guided reflection chat and remains out of the class until the end of the period
Teacher and student participate in a restorative circle to restore relationship
Student continues to break the social contract after the Empower Process has been implemented
How to support Frequent Flyers
- Recommend student to MTSS
- Update Classroom Management Notes at teacher's discretion
- Call parents at teacher's discretion
