Step 3:
Present Progressive
- This is when we say things like "I am walking."
- We use the verb "to be" (I am) and then another verb with the -ing ending.
- Here is how we do that in Spanish.
Step 1:
Put a conjugated form of "estar" (to be) first. This will match the subject
Step 2:
Take of the -ar/-er/-ir ending of the action verb. Then, add the "-ing" part. It is different for -ar and -er/-ir.
Put Step 1 and Step 2 together.
I am talking= Yo estoy hablando.
