Students who have attained their GED from July 1, 2018 - Present can utilze their GED Test Score for Placement.
The following GED Scores can be utilized for placement. Language Arts Test 165 -200 Math Test 165-200

Transferring from Another College?
Things to Consider
- Official Transcript Required
- Prior Institution should be U.S. Based
- The Coursework completed must be specifically an English (usually prefixed ENG) or Math (usually prefixed MAT) course.
- To be able to use in place of ACCUPLACER for English or Math Placement
- You must have attained a C or higher in the course.
- The Course must be Credit Level (courses starting with 0 are not credit level - such as MAT 045)
Where to send your Transcript
The testing center can not analyze transcripts or determine transfer credit, please work with the records office and your advisor.
High School Transcripts
- Must have completed three full years of High School Coursework (Grades 9-11)
- Must show a Cumulative Unweighted GPA
- Must be from a U.S. Based Institution
- Must be no more than 5 years from your graduation date

Take a look at the placement tables to the Right.If you are happy with your placement into the respective courses, with your SAT or ACT Scores... ... than you do not need to take the ACCUPLACER for that subject, and you should send your official scores to the Records office at AACC
