Exposition

During the resolution, also known as the denouement, the story concludes. Any loose ends are "tied up" as the story ends.

During the falling action, the characters react to the climax's results. Characters discover the outcome of their choices.

The climax is the most important event of the story. What choices do the characters make once they have to make an important choice?

The exposition is the beginning of the story. Primary characters, setting, and initial conflict are introduced.

The rising action is when the initial conflict builds toward the climax. Additional conflicts may arise during this section.
