Promotion Philosophy
Promotions are contingent on circumstances such as business performance, revenue, organizational growth, attrition, or the economy. Note: Based on business needs and in consultation with the People and Culture leader, a decision can be made by the CEO to promote (appoint) an individual to a higher level role; this usually applies to mission-critical roles, where an employee has made significant contributions that are evidence-based in their current role and has the necessary skills, and overall experience gained within and outside the organization to be successful in the role. The first 90 days are a probationary/ introductory period based on the completion of training. At the end of this period, the home manager will evaluate performance and skills aligned to the role.
MAKE OWN SLIDE: Development is an individualized process and will look different for every person based on where their strengths and growth opportunities exist. This resource contains suggested development opportunities, which should be customized in partnership with your Home Manager based on your development opportunities and career aspirations.
Most promotions are aligned to the PDS cycle.
