Can I switch to a Language Course?

Language Course Requirements

• Minimum length 3 months

• 10 hours a week

• Make sure it is accredited by Instituto Cervantes

• Language level B (In particular B2)

• We expect students to spend a minimum amont of time abroad.

• However, in certain circumstances students may not be able to travel and may want to do a course in the UK.

• This is not accepted as a standard.

• You need to apply for exceptional circumstances and provide evidence.

Can I do a language Course online/at home or in the uk?

1. Submit a Language Course Plan.
2. Confirm it on the SML placements Blackboard site .
3. Number of hours you will do per week and how long the course is.

How do I get my Language Course approved?

• Find an appropriate Language Course.

• Submit details of your chosen institution and course.

• Complete Location, dates and Emergency Number form.

• Submit your Learning Agreement (may need to be provisional for Visa purposes).

• Check university account at least once a week.
