  • Sometimes, interchangeable with be going to
-Be going to: shows that you have made the decision -Present Continuous: emphasises the fact that the arrangements have been made
  • Often used with verbs related to travel arrangements (e.g. come, arrive, leave)

3.BE GOING TO + INFINITIVE

5.FUTURE PERFECT

  3. Emma won't have arrived before dinner, so I'll leave some food in the fridge for her.
Use
  • Say that something will be finished before a specific time in the future
  • Used with the time expressions by + time or in+ time
Will + Be + Verb -ing

6.FUTURE CONTINUOUS
