ADOLF HITLER PÖLZ Date of Birth: He was born on April 20, 1889, in Braunau am Inn, Austria. Childhood: He was the fourth of six children of Alois Hitler and Klara Pölzl. Early Life: He moved to Vienna in 1907, hoping to become an artist, but was rejected by the Academy of Fine Arts.

Nazi Party: He joined the German Workers’ Party in 1919, which later became the National Socialist German Workers’ Party (Nazi Party).

Führer: In 1934, he assumed the title of Führer, combining the powers of chancellor and president. Anti-Semitism: He implemented extremely anti-Semitic policies that led to the Holocaust, in which six million Jews were killed.

Expansionism: He initiated a policy of territorial expansion that led to the annexation of Austria (Anschluss) and the Sudetenland, and eventually the invasion of Poland in 1939. World War II: His invasion of Poland on September 1, 1939, triggered World War II.

Operation Barbarossa: He launched the invasion of the Soviet Union in 1941, known as Operation Barbarossa. Defeat: As the war turned against Germany, he faced significant defeats on both the eastern and western fronts.

Death: He committed suicide on April 30, 1945, in his bunker in Berlin, as Allied forces were about to capture the city.
