Creating Discounts

Discounted Orders Per Customer

Sets the maximum number of orders (carts) the discount can be applied per customer​ Ex: For a 15% credit pack discount with an order limit of 1/customer:​ A customer can redeem the discount off the 6 credit packs in his cart only ONCE​. She will get 15% off the entire order of credit packs.

Discount Item Limit

Sets the maximum number of affected ITEMS that can be discounted per customer​ EX: For a 15% credit pack discount with an ITEM limit of 1/customer:​ A customer can only redeem the discount off ONE credit pack in the cart, not the entire 6 packs​

Discounted Orders Per Customer with an Item Limit

Sets the maximum number of orders (carts) the discount can be applied per customer​ as well as the number of items that can be discounted within a cart. Ex: For a 15% credit pack discount with an order limit of 2/customer and an item limit of 1.

Item Limit Across Multiple Transactions

Sets the number of times a customer can get a discount across one or more transactions. Ex: A customer can get 4 credit packs at 15% off across multiple transactions.

Company-Wide Discounted Order Limit

Sets the maximum number of orders (carts) the discount can be applied across a customer base​.EX: For a 15% credit pack discount with an order limit of 8/studio:​ When the discount is redeemed through 8 orders across the studio, the discount will no longer apply​.

Sandbox Task

1. Create a new physical gift card.2. Add the gift card to the new section in the Buy Page. Upload a screenshot of the updated section in Admin.

1. Navigate to the Buy Page.2. Select a location and create a new section. 3. Add the credit package and membership you created. Upload a screenshot of the new section.

Sandbox Task

1. Add account balance to your account. 2. Open the POS and sell yourself: the membership, retail item, and gift card you created. 3. Try to use account balance and card to checkout and see what happens. 4. Finish the sale with your card. 5. Make another transaction and purchase the credit package you created (the auto discount should apply). 5. Refund the retail item, updating the inventory count. Upload a screenshot of the Purchases screen.

Sandbox Task

1. Create a discount where anyone who purchases the membership you created gets 50% off the credit package you created. Upload a screenshot of the discount in the Training Guide.

Bill on start & Automatic Discounts

• For a Bill on Start membership, applicable automatic discounts MUST be active when order is placed
• Can be used to discount multiple intervals (ex: 4 payments discounted)​

• Can discount first interval of memberships​

• If checking out a Bill on Start membership, applicable discounts will not show unless you test it as Bill Now.
