Tourism is a booming sector in Rianxo, the cultural offer is mixed with the sun and beach and its strategic location close to major centers of cultural interest such as Santiago de Compostela.

Although its hinterland is oriented towards agricultural activities, the primary sector is mainly focused on the exploitation of marine resources: sardine fishing, mussel aquaculture in rafts and shellfishing on the shallows. Where do we come from?
Our history began in the late 80's and early 90's in a temporary building near the town hall and moved to our current location at the end of the 90's.
The current facilities in which we are located were inaugurated at the end of the 1990s. They consist of two buildings equipped with ordinary classrooms, specific classrooms such as computer and vocational training, didactic departments, library, laboratories and administration spaces..

It is a consultative and dynamic body for the linguistic and cultural aspects of the schools. It is part of the administrative, teaching and didactic structure of the centres and is made up of teachers and professors from the different levels, students (when age permits) and representatives of non-teaching staff. Its main function is to ensure that students can become proficient in the Galician language and use it with dignity and normally.

A determined and active defence of ecofeminism against sexist violence as well as the social awareness of the educational community in favour of equal rights, paying special attention to the most vulnerable minorities in this area.
