Undoubtedly, migration is an issue that comes into play when talking about diplomatic relations, as it is a situation that directly or indirectly involves more than one country. It is something so important that it has to be given the necessary attention, as it influences in many ways whatever the context in which one is living, also how migration issues relate to other security interests, economic interests and issues of identity, soft power and public diplomacy. It is amazing to see how academic and policy debates on migration and refugee "crises" around the world have yet to fully address the importance of cross-border population mobility for states' diplomatic strategies.

PERSUASIVE SPEECH

Migration has become an increasingly significant factor influencing diplomatic relations worldwide, particularly concerning the promotion and protection of human rights. The movement of people across borders, whether voluntary in search of better opportunities or forced due to persecution and conflict, poses complex challenges and opportunities for states.
