Oobleck
Non-Newtonian Fluid
Oobleck is a non-Newtonian fluid that has properties of both liquids and solids. It's made from a mixture of cornstarch and water. When you apply pressure to it, it behaves like a solid, but when you let it sit or pour it, it behaves like a liquid. This unusual behavior is due to the suspension of cornstarch particles in water, which move freely when the mixture is at rest but lock together under pressure or agitation.
