COMMUNITY SCHOOL PROJECT

INTRODUCTION

The importance of the relationship between the environmental care and the physical, psychological, emotional as well as the collective well-being is presented in the following project. The Residencial San Elías neighborhood, where the CBTis 10 is located, has different problematic situations related to insecurity and environmental care so, after informing and convincing the community about it, the project of restoring a park in the area of Sierra de Tecuan and Sierra de Pihuamo Streets is presented as the main focus of attention.

PURPOSES AND SCOPES

Recognizing the connection between the environmental care, physical, psyichological and emotional well-being, as well as the collective well-being. The main purpose is to make students aware of the importance of the enviromental care, especially in the area around the place where they study, the park, for instance, as well as to foster their self-physical, psychological and emotional well-being. Besides, involving the community in this project will promote in students and neighbors a sense of belonging and, hopefully, some commitment to keep the target area in optimal conditions.
