STAIRS
SNAKES
If the player lands on a square where the tail of a snake begins, he descends to a lower square where the head is located.
If the player lands at the end of a stair, he ascends to the top square where the ladder ends.
INSTRUCTIONS
Players start with a token—representing each of them—on the starting square and take turns rolling the dice. The pieces move according to the numbering on the board, in ascending order. If at the end of a move a player falls on a square where a ladder begins, he climbs up the ladder to the square where it ends. If, on the other hand, it lands on one where a snake's tail begins, it descends down it to the square where its head ends. There is a variation in which the player, being six squares or less from the end, must obtain exactly the number that is missing to reach it and if the number obtained exceeds the remaining number of squares, the player will not be able to move.
