Other people visit the Grand Canyon to hike, camp, and look at the red rocks. The Sonoran Desert is also located in Arizona, and is home to the giant Saguaro Cactus. These are the largest cacti in the United States and can be up to 40 feet tall! They survive in the dry climate by storing water in their stem and growing spikes to keep animals from eating them. These are just some of the unusual things you might see if you visit the state of Arizona.
