Objective: To equip families with the knowledge and skills to cultivate home vegetable gardens, fostering self-sufficiency and environmental awareness.
SCOPE
The project will involve students, teachers, families, and local community members. It will cover practical gardening skills, the nutritional benefits of home-grown vegetables, and the environmental impact of sustainable gardening.
Phase 2: Implementation
Distribute gardening kits and instructional materials.
Provide hands-on training sessions in English, ensuring participants understand gardening techniques and terminology.
Phase 1: Introduction and Planning
Conduct workshops on the basics of gardening and the importance of sustainable practices.
Organize planning sessions to outline the garden designs and select appropriate vegetable varieties.
Phase 3: Monitoring and Support
Establish a schedule for regular check-ins and support visits to assist families with their gardens.
Create a community support network where families can share tips and experiences.
Phase 4: Presentation and Reflection
Students will prepare presentations in English to share their experiences, challenges, and successes with the project.
Host a community event where families showcase their gardens and students present their projects.
