When do we use there is?

Usamos There is / There are para decir sobre algo que existe en un lugar.

1. There is se usa con sustantivos contables singulares y con sustantivos no contables.
2. There is a book on the desk. (book, countable noun) There is a computer in the bedroom. (computer, countable noun) La contracción de there is, is there's. There's a good song on the radio.

Oraciones negativas (Plura or singular) o que existe una cantidad cero de algo, usamos there aren't / there isn't any.

Generalmente usamos some para oraciones afirmativas con sustantivos contables

Lo Generalmente usamos Any para preguntar si hay "algo" (con singulares o plurales U/C)
