There is a way to transform the lengthy content into interactive learning activities to enhance student engagement with key concepts in the course.In the following slides I will share the interactives I created for some of the courses I developed.

Another example

I created this interactive learning activity for one of the Nursing courses, which helps students to learn about the subject matter visually and auditorily.

H5P

This is a "drag & drop" interactive where students can check their knowledge of the studied topic by dragging the selected answer into the corresponding category. This engaging exercise helps students to navigate between the four categories and four answers while learning from it. A student can repeat this excersice multiple times until all answers are correct.

Knowledge Check with flip cards

This interactive learning activity was also built in H5P and it includes an overview, history, flip cards, and a knowledge check.

Video with tooltips

Supplemental videos enhance students' learning with audio and video learning styles. The transtheoretical model (TTM) of change is a clinical framework used in mental health to understand the factors that influence behavior change. Hovering your mouse over the timeline will reveal the marked sections in this video.

Moovly

Example

I built these short clips into a video format using Moovly. It takes time to build each clip as first I had to find images or animations correlating with the content, then add text, and timeline. I enjoyed creating these clips and then watching it as the final product.
