Game 1: In groups of 3, spin the wheel. Student 1 creates an affirmative sentence in past simple. Student 2 changes it to a negative. Student 3 changes it into an interrogative. Repeat this activity using past continuous. Game 2: In partners, look at the photographs. One partner creates the question and the other answers it (use Past Continuous). e.g. What were doing yesterday at 6pm? I was studying with some classmates.
