Do not keep data longer than necessary

If you don’t need it anymore, then get rid of it. Data should not be kept longer than necessary to fulfill the announced purpose. Once the purpose is fulfilled, the data must be archived, deleted, or anonymized.

👉 If you choose to archive data, the time it spends in the archive must be limited. Even archived data must eventually be deleted or anonymized.
