Anthony's Case
Start
Anthony, a 32-year-old male, was initially prescribed opioid medication for chronic back pain following a workplace injury. Over time, his tolerance increased, leading to misuse of the medication. Despite attempts to control his use, Anthony found himself increasingly reliant on opioids to manage his pain and emotional state so that he can continue to work, as well as avoid withdrawal. Concerned about his escalating consumption, he is seeking help.
