A responsible action School Community Project
Designing a School Community Project
The PEC Recycling for a humanitarian cause is a proposal of the C.B.T.A 255 based on MCCEMS, its guidelines are a comprehensive training of the student body, in the socioeconomic and cultural context in which they find themselves, as well as a relationship and interrelation with the community. Collecting and selling plastic waste to fund the rehabilitation of the Calli Sports Unit is a great way to promote environmental responsibility while also benefiting the community. Raise Awareness: Educate students and staff about the importance of recycling and how it benefits both the environment and the school community. It can organize workshops, create posters, and use social media to spread the word. Designate Collection Points: Set up clearly marked bins around the school where students can drop off their plastic waste. Collaborate with Local Businesses: Partner with local recycling companies or businesses that buy plastic waste. They can provide support and possibly offer better rates for the collected plastic. Incentivize Participation: Create a reward system to encourage students to participate. This could be in the form of certificates, small prizes, or recognition in school events. Track Progress: Keep a record of how much plastic is collected and how much money is raised. Engage the Community: Involve parents and local residents in the initiative. They can contribute their plastic waste and support the cause. We can ensure that the plastic collection project not only helps fund the rehabilitation of the Calli Sports Unit but also fosters a sense of environmental stewardship among students

General design
The student community at C.B.T.a 255 is taking an important step towards environmental sustainability by collecting and concentrating plastic waste in a designated area. This initiative can help reduce plastic pollution and promote recycling efforts within the school.Collecting and selling plastic to fund the rehabilitation of the Calli Sports Unit is a great way to promote environmental responsibility while also supporting your community.Likewise, students may bring PET material from their homes in order to recycle their use. The receipt of PET material is estimated to be per day according to each semester. Days: Mondays: 6th semester, Wednesday 4th semester and Friday 2nd semester. The staff will deliver in honor of the flag on Mondays. In addition to this, the integration of students through social service or work activities is intended. Once the estimated quantity has been achieved (4 tons), they will be transferred to the recyclers with whom there is already a prior purchase-sale agreement.
