Purpose
Support teachers working in CLIL and language of schooling settings at upper primary and lower secondary level
Objectives
- Deepen their awareness of language in content classes (e.g. History, Maths, Civics/Citizenship Education)
- Get (more) familiar with language descriptors as a reference for developing language proficiency in the content classroom
- Use language descriptors as learning and assessment tools in the content classroom
- Reflect on the usefulness of such descriptors for developing the learners’ language of schooling in the target languages (English as the common CLIL language, Greek, Polish, Portuguese, and Slovak as an L2)
