Below are some common myths that you may have heard during the course of your teaching career. Each box outlines a common myth and evidence about that myth. A studenrt diagnosed with ASD may have impaired social communication, poor comprehension of spoken language or may be nonverbal. All students have individual strengths and weaknesses!
