Behaviorism

Behaviorism is the belief that character and actions are shaped through our experiences and our environment. Psychologist B.F. Skinner is a major theorist behind behaviorism and supports its belief. Learning amd memory occur with behaviorism through the experiences and action.

Cognitivism

Cognitivism is the belief that learning occurs through using what we already know with new information that we come across. Jean Piaget is one of the founders of cognitivism and is instrumental in cognitive development. He believed that learning is an active process.

Constructivism is when people create their own knowledge through their experiences. It is similair to cognitivism but not exactly the same. Lev Vygotsky and Jean Piaget are credited to be the theorist behind constructivism. Detailing that learners use their memory to learn and create their own knowledge through their experiences.
