We will be planning the island by thinking about what it looks like, what is on it, and who lives there. We will read some words, write descriptions, and create our island.

Read a short passage about a fictional secret island. On the secret island, there are tall palm trees and golden beaches. In a hidden cave, there is a treasure chest full of gold. A small house stands near the forest, where a friendly pirate lives.

Instructions: Find a large piece of paper and colored pencils. Draw/colour your own secret island, including at least three items from the vocabulary list.
