Cambria Student Code of Conduct

We want you to enjoy your time at college, to be safe and respected by others and to feelvalued. Whatever you are doing when on or off-site, staying in our residential accommodation, on transport or online.

wherever you are, you are a Cambria studentand we expect you to behave in a respectful way to others and the college.

As a student at Cambria, I am personally responsible for demonstrating positive behaviour at all times in accordance with the Student Code of Conduct. I understand that any behaviour regarded as misconduct will result in a disciplinary sanction, with matters of gross misconduct potentially leading to exclusion from the College. Please see our Student Positive Behaviour Policy for further detail.

Coleg Cambria has a zero tolerance policy that applies across all College sites and offsite College activities. This policy covers:

Abusive, threatening, or violent behaviour towards students, staff, or visitors.The possession, use, distribution, purchase or sharing of drugs or any substances classified under the Misuse of Drugs Act. Being in the possession of alcohol or under the influence of alcohol. Being in possession of any item, which could be used as an oensive weapon, such as knives, guns, screwdrivers, blades,martial arts equipment, fireworks, etc, (unless authorised as essential equipment for your course).

Any student who is found to be in breach of the zero tolerance policy will be immediately suspended from College and may be permanently excluded in accordance with the College’s disciplinary procedures.
