Stage 1. General Information

Stage 2. Lesson plan

Opening activities

  • Show images about activities to do in a city during vacations. Ask 8 students to chose a picture.
  • Project a paragraph on the board where students will identify the grammar structure of present progressive underlining the activities.
  • Students who has the pictures present the activity using the present progressive sturcture.
  • Students will share 3 activities using present progressive and they will present to the group in the link provided.
  • Teacher will check students pronunciation and entonation.

Stage 2. Lesson plan

Development activities

  • Teacher will choose 4 of the pictures used in the opening activities to present the grammar structure of Present progressive.
  • Students will answer an exercise where they have to change the verbs into -ING form.
  • Show a video where students will complete a paragraph with the activities that are happening now.
  • Teacher ask students to read to change notebook in order to check if their classmates completed the paragraph correctly.

Stage 3. Lesson plan

Closing activities

  • Teacher will present about a city where some people are doing some activities in their vacations.
  • Students will write a pos card describing the activities as if he/she is doing in his/her vacations. Teacher will check the spelling.
  • 3 or 4 Students will read aloud the post card to the group.
  • Teachers will check the speaking and pronuntation.
  • Students will share their post card in the link provided.
