JD OKTA Authentication Config. Changes
With John Deere migrating their APIs to a new platform, you are required to make URL changes to 4 Programs.
Program: JDPoint - Part Info
Navigate to the OKTA Authentication Config screen by following the steps below: System Management > Security > OKTA Authentication Config. There are 4 Programs that need to be changed. Click on each of the Programs to the right to see how to make the changes on Gold Classic or Windows. Ensure that you have your unique Client ID and unique Client Secret from your email ready.

Program – JDPoint - Part Info
1. On the OKTA Authentication Config. screen, select JDPoint Part Info from the Program drop down menu.
2. Make the following changes:
Client ID: enter your unique Client IDClient Secret: enter your unique Client Secret Host: https://parts-api-partinfo-2-4.deere.com Endpoint: /parts/prod/PartInfoWS_1_4Service
3. Press OK to save the changes.
Program – JD API
1. On the OKTA Authentication Config. screen, select JD-API from the Program drop down menu.
2. Make the following changes:
Client ID: enter your unique Client IDClient Secret: enter your unique Client Secret Host: https://dtfapi.deere.com/dbs/dealer/ Endpoint: Please leave this blank*
3. Press F2 to save the changes.
Program – JDPoint - Part Info
1. On the OKTA Authentication Config. screen, select JDPOINT-PARTINFO from the Program drop down menu.
2. Make the following changes:
Client ID: enter your unique Client ID Client Secret: enter your unique Client Secret Host: https://parts-api-partinfo-2-4.deere.com Endpoint: /parts/prod/PartInfoWS_1_4Service
3. Press F2 to save the changes.
Program – JD API
1. On the OKTA Authentication Config. screen, select JD-API from the Program drop down menu.
2. Make the following changes:
Client ID: enter your unique Client IDClient Secret: enter your unique Client Secret Host: https://dtfapi.deere.com/dbs/dealer/ Endpoint: Please leave this blank*
3. Press OK to save the changes.
Program – JDPoint - PM Link
1. On the OKTA Authentication Config. screen, select JDPOINT-PMLINK from the Program drop down menu.
2. Make the following changes:
Client ID: enter your unique Client IDClient Secret: enter your unique Client Secret Host: https://parts-api-orders-2-3.deere.com Endpoint: /parts/prod/PMLinkWS_1_3Service
3. Press F2 to save the changes.
Program – JDPoint - PM Link
1. On the OKTA Authentication Config. screen, select JDPoint PM Link from the Program drop down menu.
2. Make the following changes:
Client ID: enter your unique Client IDClient Secret: enter your unique Client Secret Host: https://parts-api-orders-2-3.deere.com Endpoint: /parts/prod/PMLinkWS_1_3Service
3. Press OK to save the changes.
Program – JD Warranty
1. On the OKTA Authentication Config. screen, select JD Warranty from the Program drop down menu.
2. Make the following changes:
Client ID: enter your unique Client IDClient Secret: enter your unique Client Secret Host: https://warrantyext-api-prod.deere.com Endpoint: /digcust/wy/warrantydbswebservice
3. Press OK to save the changes.
Program – JD Warranty
1. On the OKTA Authentication Config. screen, select JDWARRANTY from the Program drop down menu.
2. Make the following changes:
Client ID: enter your unique Client IDClient Secret: enter your unique Client Secret Host: https://warrantyext-api-prod.deere.com Endpoint: /digcust/wy/warrantydbswebservice
3. Press F2 to save the changes.
