Imagine that you want to run out to pick up a quick lunch from a nearby restaurant. You’re in a time crunch and planned on going through the drive-thru – the line is super long and after not moving for 10 minutes, you decide to park and just walk in and order to go.

Mission 2: The Restaurant Entrance
As you walk into the restaurant, you notice that there are dirty tables from the lunch rush and a nearly overflowing trash bin by the door.

Mission 3: The Employee Experience
You try to make eye contact with a few of the team members that occasionally walk by, but are not successful, and end up waiting until an employee comes to the register a few minutes later. The employee seems annoyed, doesn’t greet you, and just asks what you would like without looking at you.

Mission 4: The Food and Overall Experience
You place your order, get your food within a few minutes, are out the door, and en route to the office. You have your lunch—the food is as delicious as ever—but your overall experience wasn't great.
