"The Merchant of Venice"

(1564-1616) is structured around the anecdote of the failure of a guarantee and the bloodthirsty claim of the usurer Shylock, and the love relationship between the noble Bassanio and Portia, a rich and beautiful orphan.

Hamlet

Probably composed between 1599 and 1601, takes place in Denmark and tells how Prince Hamlet carries out his revenge on his uncle Claudius who murdered Hamlet's father, the king, and holds the usurped crown as well as his marriage to Gertrude, his mother, from Hamlet.

Is presented as the tragedy of incomprehension, in which pure love, passion, pride, jealousy, revenge... fight, and in which in the end, the protagonist, like a true tragic hero, conscious of his degradation and his loss, he writes his own epitaph, with the anguish of the destroyed hero.
