Welcome!

We're pleased to welcome you onboard. We've created this toolkit for you to support our aim to get you started as quickly and smoothly as possible. You're here so hopefully that means you have been able to get your Healios laptop up and running. If not, you can find details here about how to get in touch with our IT Operations team using the information linked under Technology on the main page. You'll also find other key contacts and links to important information for your onboarding and as a quick reference for once you start completing casework. Your team manager will be in regular contact with you and you can always message whenever you need a helping hand. Your first couple of days will be occupied with training. If you have questions about the training or how to do something in Panacea, reach out to your team manager.

We'd be grateful if you can take a moment to give us feedback about the toolkit once you've had a chance to go through it so that we can continue to improve it for future new joiners.

Slack channels

In addition to the social and other channels covered in the corporate onboarding Slack directory, here are some channels that you'll want to be sure to join for Melios. Have a search and join them, if your team manager hasn't already added you.

Always close the session!
  • Sessions must be closed to record outcome and to trigger next steps. The automated report will not be activated until the session is closed. Also, we will be unable to see whether it has taken place or not. If a session doesn't take place due to technical reasons, this must be indicated after closing the session.
  • If a client doesn't show up, refer to the DNA button in this toolkit for instructions about how to manage it correctly.
  • If the client does show up, always wait for them to leave the session first before closing.

Onboarding Passport

The general training that everyone follows, regardless of their role, is covered in the Onboarding Passport. You will also find a slick planning tool to help you plan out your first two weeks there. Please note that all of the learning you are enrolled in can also be found directly in Grow.

Availability

If you're unable to attend work, please inform Melios at your earliest convenience. You should email hello@melios.org.uk with the title ‘URGENT - CLINICIAN UNWELL’, copying in your team manager or, if they're unavailable, the wider ND Plus team managers. A team manager may get in touch with you to determine likely length of absence and to ascertain any support needs.

Melios

The Melios team at Healios is lead by Senior Team Manager, Nadine Bowery (Clinical Specialist for autism). Paul Roughead is the clinical lead (ADHD). Our team is supported by the Client Operations Melios sub-team who can be contacted at hello@melios.org.uk. Structurely, Melios falls under the ND Plus division which is headed by Angela Rossi. Angela reports to Chief Clinical Officer, David Mushati and the Executive Leadership team. More information about your team can be found here in HiBob under Org > People.

Melios contracts

Assessments are funded in two ways at Melios: Bupa or private pay (self-funded). The assessments run the same, but Bupa have an offer of a one page profile (below). Bupa assessments must also include a Bupa-credentialled clinician. Reference Bupa One Page Profile Process
