Reasons for asynchronous Core and Spoke:
Programme duration: 3 months
Availability The learners of the co-trainer programme will follow this training programme next to their job. It’s important that they can make time available for their training whenever it fits them and prevent it from interfering with their daily tasks.
Flexibility: It’s not required for the learners to follow the training linearly. By creating this flexibility the learner can also focus on the topics they would like to focus on. The co-trainer programme is set up as a development program so based on their personal goals they could decide to work on specific modules first before diving into earlier modules. This is completely up to the learners.
Location: The company has multiple offices where people can join the co-trainer program. By making the material digital asynchronous all co-trainers can follow the programme wherever and whenever they want. The live classroom sessions will also take place virtually to ensure the experience for all attendees is the same.
Engagement: By using multiple learning formats the learners stay engaged and the learning experience is enhanced. Examples are eLearning, infographics, live classroom sessions, and resources like books, websites and platforms.
Inclusion: By creating digital learning material it’s possible to cater to people with disabilities making the programme more inclusive. The classroom sessions support the existing digital content and take place recurring every quarter if learners are not available to follow certain sessions they will have an opportunity later.
