Philosophy
I believe that a holistic approach is needed to fully educate student athletes. Athletic programs should seek to impact student- athletes intellectually, socially, as well as physically. As an aspiring athletic director, it is my belief that athletic departments have a significant opportunity to create environments where coaches place a premium on academic and social success. In taking this approach to athletics there are no 'losers' within the program. Every athlete is impacted in such a way that those intrinsic lessons learned will last a lifetime and benefit the athlete well after their playing days are through.
