Fret board Placing fingers on different string and different parts of the fret board will let you play different not.

Pickup Converts the vibrations of the strings into electrical signals.

Volume control Lets the player increase or decrease the volume of the guitar.

Tone control or pickup selection Some bass guitars have a tone control (bass/treble) and a separate pickup selection.

Guitar lead input jack Where the guitar lead is plugged into. The other end of guitar lead is plugged into the output jack in an amplifier.

Strap button Where one end of the neck strap is connected.
