SUE TOWNSEND

Sue Townsend was born in 1946 in the United Kingdom, she was known for the creation of the Adrian Mole series. She left school at 15 and worked various jobs until she found her passion as a writer. Sue Townsend was inspired to write "The Secret Diary of Adrian Mole" by her own experiences, she also wrote titles such as "The Queen and I", "The Woman Who Went to Bed for a Year" and more. Finally, Sue Townsend was died in 2014 in U.K.

SYNOPSIS OF THE SECRET DIARY OF ADRIAN MOLE

Adrian Mole is a 13 years old teenager with typical puberty problems, acne, her love for Pandora, and much more in this interesting book about her life. This book was written by Sue Townsend and published in 1982 by publisher "Penguin Books". The genre of the book is a humorous comic novel where Adrian Mole has a difficult family situation, but despite everything, he considers himself very intellectual and misunderstood.

CHARACTERS

Adrian Mole is the main character of the book, he has insecurities about his appearance, family problems, he believes himself to be a misunderstood intellectual, and he also feels very attracted to his partner Pandora, whom he tries to surprise so that she falls in love. This led him to have a bad time with his friend Nigel and some more problems.

Pandora is the girl that Adrian Mole falls in love with, described as perfect and beautiful, at first she showed no interest in Adrian but over time she fell in love with him and they became a couple, with some typical couple problems.
