+ info

Enhanced Self-Awareness: Reflective processes heighten coaches’ self-awareness. By analyzing their actions, decisions, and behaviors, coaches can recognize both adaptive (effective) and maladaptive (ineffective) aspects of their coaching approach.Insight and Learning: Asking powerful questions and using specific tools allow clients to reflect on their experiences. This process increases the opportunity for insight and personal learning, enabling coaches to choose effective paths forward. Continuous Learning: Reflective practice involves thinking about one’s actions to engage in continuous learning. Coaches who actively reflect can improve their craft (knowing-in-action) and make informed decisions during coaching sessions.
