UAT OVERVIEW

What is User Acceptance Testing? User Acceptance Testing (UAT) allows a specified group of employees to review the system and ensure it is operational for end-to-end processing of business transactions​. The objective of User Acceptance Testing is to:​

• Validate the design and build are cohesive from an employee point of view​
• Validate usability of Oracle Cloud business processes from an employee point of view​
• Build confidence in the Oracle Cloud system

UAT is NOT:​

• Formal program training ​
• An opportunity to revisit major design decisions ​

UAT End Goals:

• Fully test the design and ensure this system has been set up appropriately for your workflows​

UAT Completion:

• End Date: July 31st, 2024

• Manage weekly schedule for testers

• Manage the UAT testers, ensuring that they join calls, complete testing on schedule

UAT Testers

Functional Teams

• Execute their assigned UAT scripts
• Communicate to UAT Module Leads any issues, concerns, availability with testing
• Report defects for issues encountered during test execution during office hours meetings

• Attend office hour sessions to answer tester questions
• Review and fix defects

What is the Plug-In and When is it Required?

• The Excel Plug-In is required for the following processes in Sinai Cloud:

Excel Plug-In Installation/Uninstallation

• ADFDI Excel plug-in installation process is a self-service installation process.

• If you require it for a script, refer to the next slide for steps.

• EBS users switching between testing and regular duties must uninstall/install the plug-in accordingly.

• An email with detailed instructions will follow shortly after this meeting.

1. Search for Software Center in the search bar on your desktop and press ENTER.

2. Click Oracle ADFDesktopIntegration.

3. Click Install (or Uninstall).
