Numbering & Section Options: How to Access
You can get to the Numbering & Section Options three different ways.
Window > Pages (F12)
Right Click over Selected Page
Layout
Start Page Numbering At
Manual Page Number Overrides
InDesign does not currently have a "Do Not Include in Page Count" option. Therefore, in proposals that exclude certain pages from the page count (i.e. cover letter, tabs, resumes, etc.), it's necessary to use Start Page Numbering At and manually number the first page in each section. If this is the case, it's imperative you double check all page numbers for accuracy prior to submittal.
