Our History At Great American Steakhouse
How it all started
In 1977 Jack and Peggy Nunn opened Great American Land & Cattle Co. on Alabama Street, El Paso. Just a year later they opened new restaurants in four different locations, including three, casual steakhouse restaurants. In 2004 Eduardo and Cecilia Orozco bought the rights to the Great American Land & Cattle Co. brand both in the United States and Mexico, including the business of their own condiments in Mexico. Currently. the new Great American Steakhouse brand is a benchmark in El Paso and Ciudad Juarez. Our goal is to continue with the expansion strategy in Mexico and the United States.
