Etwinning Project 2023- 2024
Palette of Perspectives: Crossing Cultures Through Art and Storytelling
Project Description
The Etwinning project “Palette of Perspectives: Crossing Cultures Through Art and Storytelling” aimed at enhancing students’ cultural awareness and understanding by exposing them to stories and perspectives from different cultures. Thus, partner students were invited to exchange stories/myths/fables from their cultures and explore them from a different perspective by assuming a role namely of an artist, writer, reviewer, debater, researcher and more. Each story was uploaded onto twinspace and became the source of various activities such as illustrating the story by AI artistic designs, writing subversive endings, roleplaying, taking part into a debate and more. Through collaboration, ICT use and active engagement, students were benefitted as they gained a deeper understanding of the world and its many traditions, made text-to-world connections, built bonds and developed empathy and tolerance. Last but not least, the project encouraged the development of the 21st century skills such as creativity, critical thinking and technology literacy.
