What Are Pre-Built Connectors?

Many automation platforms have pre-built connectors that provide the ability to connect to systems or perform automation actions without any writing any code, scripts, queries, or API calls. It is important to note that the connectors often include some constraints or limitations.

Examples of Automation Actions

Actions are the basis of creating automations and include actions related to the inputs, outputs, and automation steps. This can include interacting with standard APIs, flat files, pre-built connector, as well as steps to apply logic, rules, triggers or other activities that are part of the automated workflow.

Examples

  • Reading an Order w/ Line Items
  • Reading Projects & Related Tasks (2 Actions)
  • Updating the Status of an Existing Order
  • Creating a Flat File Export
  • Using "Zap" to Read Shopify Orders
  • Writing (unformatted) data to an Excel Tab
  • Sending an Email Notification
  • Performing a logic validation
  • Performing a duplicate check on a unique field
  • Looping through records
  • Performing data transformation on a single field
  • Applying a format to a file
  • Other pre-built actions from the platform

What if the Number of Actions Changes After the Analysis & Design Work?

After the analysis & design stage of your project, we will confirm the number of actions. If the effort is no longer in scope of the package you created, we will provide a change order to adjust for the number of actions.

What's Included:

  • Automation & Integration Analysis: Analysis & Design Meeting.
