our county is extremadura. west of spain, next to portugal.

EXTREMADURA

Our city is Cáceres. North of Extremadura.

OUR CITY

Cáceres is our city and it was declared by UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1986.

OUR SCHOOL

Our three main fundamentals are: 1.- We have a bilingual teaching programme where we use English as a learning language. Our pupils also study Portuguese. 2.- Diversity: integrating children with special educational needs. 3.- Use of Technology, such as, robots, drons, laptops, 3d printers, augmented reality...

Our school is one of the biggest schools in Extremadura. We have around 700 pupils and nearly 50 teachers.

ROBOTICS

Pre-School. 3-5 year-old children: BEE-BOT

We use robots to revise contents and motivate children.They learn to program them.

ROBOTICS.

PRIMARy: 6-12 YEAR OLD CHILDREN: EV3/MINDSTORM

Older children use a more complex robots. They create and program the ev3/mindstorm robot and microbits.Even, we participate in a regional competition called Robo-reto where different challenges are proposed to children. We got the second place two years ago.

eScholarium

It is used in 5th and 6th level in Primary education.

It consists on a virtual programme where teachers create interactive activities and digital booksChildren use it everyday and they make learning and assessment activities. In order to use it we have tablets/laptops in class for every pupil.

LIBRARIUM

It is an app made by Extremadura governmet to motivate reading. You can get digital reading books, create reading clubs and reading comprenhension activities.

In your personal page you can gat digital books and create a reading club.

It's a Google Site where we share all the school activities. You can see all our projects, information about activities and school services.Every class has a page to display their activities and links to connect with teachers or to access to differents apps.We developed it during Pandemic times but it was so successful that we continue using it as a way of showing our works.
