Aim

The aim of the project was to contribute to the creation of a better world by discovering and passing on to others ways to be kind and good at home, at school and in the environment.

The first collaborative activity concerned the creation of a logo for our project. We divided the letters from the title of the project into three parts, as many as the twinned schools, and then either with our bodies or with various objects, each school formed the letters it had undertaken. We joined these letters, in a common online canvas, to form the title of the project, which became the emblem of our project.

Christmas cards in transnational groups

We were then divided into 10 international groups. Each team, with members from all three schools, created Christmas cards and wrote wishes on shared digital canvases.

Online Meeting

Before our Christmas break all partner schools had an online meeting during which they talked about our school, they sang Christmas carols and exchanged wishes.

Kindness at Home

In the first main topic of the project which was about kindness at home, we expressed our views on the topic through brainstorming.

Kindness at Home

We created a playful digital book of secret messages related to acts of kindness at home. Students from each school individually or in pairs created messages with symbols, and then tried to decode their partners' messages.

Also, following suggestions from students at each school we created a shared digital calendar that had 24 doors that could be pressed, each revealing a challenge for an act of kindness or kindness at home.

After performing different good deeds at home, Polish students took photos which were later composed into our first poster.

Our next activity was to create a collaborative podcast with ways we can be be kind at home.

Finally, we created a garden, the 'kindness at home' garden, on a shared digital canvas with symbolic flowers placed by the students if they felt satisfied with the acts of kindness they had done at home. Each student took their place on the common digital canvas, respecting the space of their co-creators and their work, trying not to erase the flower or their name.

We started our next topic 'Kindness at school' by sharing ways we can be kind at school, on a common digital board in our twinspace.

Then in six transnational groups we created six acrostic poems where the initial letters of the verses formed the phrase 'Kindness at School'.

After watching a video about bullying and its types, we discussed and classified the different types into categories in an online activity. In our project forum we suggested ways we can use to help someone who is being bullied.

We made cardboard posters and played a group online quizziz game about bullying.

Polish, Italian and Greek etwinning partners collaborated on a common board (twinboard) in our twinspace in order to create 18 questions about bullying to make our own interactive game in quizizz.

We created a joint poster with pictures of us and prompts on how to be kind at school.

Kindness at School

We created a collaborative podcast with ways we can be be kind at school.

We put our good deeds in a jar or we added 'leaves' of good deeds we had done at school to our flower stems.

We created our common digital garden 'Kindness at school', each partner with their own imagination and creativity.

Kindness to our planet

In our last topic, which was about kindness and proper behavior towards our planet, we focused on the problems our Earth faces. All partners shared their views on a common twinboard.

Kindness to our planet

we suggested ways to protect our environment.

We collaborated to write a poem called 'Save the earth' and we sang it to a familiar tune.

Let's be good to animals they are our friends Don't wait for others Save the world with your own hands Don't drop trash in parks Use bikes instead of cars Don't consume too much water That's how our earth can be better! Don't burn the trees That's how nature is Don't kill animals Or else we'll all be criminals

Heal the world to make it a better place to live in you and me together the entire human race. Reuse, reduce, recycle: paper, plastic and glass stop producing too much CO2 gas around us. Let's be good to plants Don't cut down trees Keep the water clean Be kind to nature, please

A poster

After performing different good deeds for our Planet we created our third poster.All the posters are now displayed in our school to remind everyone about the importance of being kind.

To honour Earth Day on 22nd April the Greek etwinners decorated a bulletin board with messages about ways to save our planet.

They also presented their work and talked about Earth Day to the other classes of our school.

They finally created digital posters about Earth Day.
