A college summer bridge program is designed to ease the transition to college and support postsecondary success by providing students with the academic skills and social resources needed to succeed in a college environment. These programs occur in the summer “bridge” period between high school and college.

The College of Engineering, Architecture and Technology’s (CEAT) Summer Bridge Program is a three-week, residential preparatory program for incoming first-year students who have been accepted to Oklahoma State University and who plan to pursue a degree in engineering, architecture, or engineering technology.
This program is designed to ease the transition from high school to college, allow you to become familiar with campus, make friends, experience TU classes, develop effective learning strategies and earn college credit prior to fall class start.
NSU Summer Bridge Program students complete a one week program, for bridging in three of the no credit course areas. Summer Bridge offers a combination of coursework, tutoring, group mentoring, and personal development workshops.

Events/activites to encourage student relationships
Becoming familiar with different campus resources
Program specific days to familiarize students with peers and departments
Specialized non-credit courses for foundational topics
