Taking Inventory

start

Introduction

Taking inventory is essential to keeping the pools properly stocked both in the case of an emergency and for day to day maintenance. In this presentation, we will go over how to properly take inventory at each of the pools.

Learning sessions 01

How to Take Inventory

When taking inventory, the first step is to create an inventory form. To create an inventory form, log into DigiQuatics. Go to the forms page underneath the maintenance tab. Click on the add button and select Inventory Report (All Locations). Select the location you are taking inventory of and fill out the rest of the form

When taking inventory, make sure to carefully read each item and take note of whether you are counting boxes, rolls, individual items, etc. Furthermore, do not include any opened items in the count. Only keep track of unopened, unused items. When you finish taking inventory, make sure to sign and submit the inventory form.

Conclusion

Reflect on what you have learned in this module.

Taking inventory is an important step in keeping our pools well supplied. It is essential we have enough chemicals to preserve water chemestry, enough cleaning supplies to properly sanitize the pools, and properly stocked medical supplies in the event of a medical emergency. Remember to double and triple check your inventory counts before submitting to ensure our pools can be kept safe and clean.
