Is a grammatical construction in which the subject of the sentence receives the action described by the verb, rather than being the one who performs it. This is achieved by reversing the roles of subject and object, and is often used to focus attention on the effect of the action rather than the person performing it.

The passive voice is structured using the auxiliary verb “to be” in the corresponding verb tense and the main verb in the past participle.

How the structure works (como funciona la Estructura)

*Subject: The subject of the passive sentence is the direct or indirect object of the active sentence. In other words, it is the one who receives the action described by the main verb. *Auxiliary verb (to be): The auxiliary verb “to be” is used to indicate the corresponding verb tense. It can be present, past, future simple, future continuous or future perfect. *Main verb in past participle: The main verb becomes a past participle, which is formed by adding the particle “-ed” to the regular verb or by looking up the past participle in the list of irregular verbs.

(*Sujeto: El sujeto de la oración pasiva es el objeto directo o indirecto de la oración activa. En otras palabras, es el que recibe la acción descrita por el verbo principal. *Verbo auxiliar (to be): El verbo auxiliar "to be" se utiliza para indicar el tiempo verbal correspondiente.
