司马光 Sima Guang
司马光(1019-1086)，字君实，北宋时期著名的史学家、文学家、政治家。他主持编纂了著名的编年体通史《资治通鉴》。Sima Guang (17 November 1019 – 11 October 1086), courtesy name Junshi, was a Chinese historian, politician, and writer. He was a high-ranking Song dynasty scholar-official who authored the Zizhi Tongjian, a monumental work of history. Sima was a political conservative, who opposed the reforms of Wang Anshi.

文言文主要指以秦汉书面语为标准，脱离口语而写成的文字。
Classical Chinese is an ancient written language based on the language used in the pre-Qin and Han periods, and imitated by later Chinese writers (Wang, 1979).
