Student activist Niko Managade is attacked while approaching his lecturer, Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze, at the Tbilisi State University.

A group of activists are verbally and physically harassed by several young men after they started removing posters from the streets targetting government critics.

Ia Sartania, a journalist at opposition-leaning TV station Formula, says a man attacked her while she was riding the Tbilisi metro.

Teacher and prominent government critic Lado Apkhazava is attacked in front of his son in Lanchkhuti, Guria.

After a demonstration blocks the central Heroes Square, several car-loads of masked men arrive and attack a group of isolated protesters on the outskirts of the demonstration.

Giorgi Kldiashvili, the director of the Institute for Development of Freedom of Information (IDFI) is attacked along with the Formula TV crew that is interviewing him.

Gia Japaridze, a professor and brother of opposition leader Zurab Japaridze is attacked. UNM member Dimitri Chikovani is attacked. Biker activist Lasha Gvinianidze is attacked. DJ Gio Shengelia is attacked.

UNM Member Giorgi Mumladze is chased. Zurab Girchi Japaridze is ambushed in his car. Later the same day, he scares off three potential attackers in front of his house with a gun.

An activist from anti-government group Shetsvale (‘change!’), Tite Gedenidze, reports that two unmasked men ambushed his brother.

The father of Tbilisi Pride organiser Mariam Kvaratskhelia is attacked. Luka Natsvlishvili, a member of activist group Dafioni, reports that a masked man entered his yard and cursed at him.

Irakli Miladze claims that after a meeting with the administration of the Caucasus International University, where he studies, to persuade them to join a student strike against the bill, unidentified men attacked him.

A group of students protesting Irakli Kobakhidze’s lecture at TSU says they are physically assaulted again.

Luka Shvelidze, member of the UNM’s youth. wing is attacked. Another UNM member Irakli Pavlenishvili reports that five masked men approached him, but that he managed to escape with the help of neighbours.

At least two men attack Girchi — More Freedom member Tsotsne Koberidze, one with a taser. Koberidze fights the two off and they soon flee, as witnesses berate them.

Opposition Droa member Mariam Sichinava claims she was attacked by a municipal employee in Zugdidi with a bat due to her activism. She said she was with her 9-year-old child during the assault.

1. Girchi — More Freedom member Boris Kurua is attacked. 2. Akhali member Nodar Chachanidze is attacked in front of his flat. 3. The 14-year-old son of Akhali member Giorgi Oniani says he was terrorised at home, with unknown individuals banging on the door and windows of their flat. 4. TV channel Pirveli airs a special report alerting the public that unidentified masked men were sitting and waiting in a car near their office.

A group of students protesting Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze’s lecture at Tbilisi State University says they are physically assaulted again. According to RFE/RL’s Georgian service, Goga Memanishvili, the deputy director of the Patrol Police, accused Kobakhidze’s critics of ‘provoking’ the incident.

Giorgi Kldiashvili, the director of watchdog group the Institute for Development of Freedom of Information (IDFI) and a TV crew from Formula are attacked. Kldiashvili was being interviewed after leaving a meeting at the Swedish Embassy in Tbilisi. The assailant, who held beer bottles in his hands and had a vehicle parked nearby, made sure to point out that he did not like Kldiashvili’s political views. Using a public database of party donations, Formula identified the attacker as Revaz Vashakmadze, a Georgian Dream supporter.

A group of unidentified men in black outfits attacks protesters on Hero’s Square, injuring two. Protesters told local media the men drove up in several cars before around 25 of them got out and started punching and kicking protesters. They then drove away.

Dimitri Chikovani. A member of the United National Movement Groups of men wearing hoods and medical masks and carrying sticks ambush Chikovani and beat him up.

Gia Japaridze. Senior Fellow at the Chavchavadze Centre and former diplomat. The brother of libertarian leader Zurab Girchi Japaridze. In an interview with Formula, he says ‘at least two’ attackers asked him ‘why’ he was ‘against the bill’ as they beat him with sticks.

Lasha Gvinianidze. One of the organisers of the bike rallies that have been prominent during the protests. Gvinianidze is attacked by a masked men near his home.

Gio Shengelia. A popular DJ. Shengelia is attacked by a group of masked men on the streets in Tbilisi after he wrote a social media post critisising the Foreign Agent Law.

A day later, Zurab Japaridze says he had to fire a warning shot from his pistol, which he began legally carryig after being ambushed by several men at night in Tbilisi He says he used the weapon after spotting two masked men exiting a car and approaching him on the street. In a post on Facebook, he also published an image of the car with visible plates on it. Later that day, Japaridze released another video claiming he had to scare off three potential attackers near his home by threatening them with his firearm again.

UNM member, Giorgi Mumladze says four masked men in a car chased after his vehicle near his home in the village of Tsereteli, in Marneuli Municipality, in an attempt to attack him for a second day in a row. ‘This is […] a catastrophe. They came to my family for the second time… My children… I can't even leave them at home anymore’, Mumladze says while breaking down in a live interview with TV channel Pirveli.
