Any backstock of the instant ticket book(s) being removed are not to be recorded on the Inventory Log. Only instant tickets that have been settled are to be recorded on the Inventory Log.
Only the instant tickets books that have been settled are to be recorded in the Return section of the Inventory Log.
When an instant ticket is removed from your store's instant ticket lottery inventory, it's important to thoroughly complete the removal and documentation process.
You must record in the Removed section of the Inventory Log every instant ticket book marked for removal, including the calculated value of the remaining instant tickets (value of books that have been settled.)
Prepare and package the intant tickets to be returned.
Once a ticket book is designated for removal, it should be promptly recorded in the inventory log under the Returns section.
Document the following :Date the instant ticket was identified for removal
The value of the game tickets being returned (document value only of books that have been settled)
At the end of each business day, you are required to inspect every instant ticket bin and document the number of the ticket that is next to be sold.
All instant tickets begin with ticket number 000, so during inventory, we need to add 1 to account for the instant ticket labeled as 000.
The process of receiving lottery instant tickets is a simple and straightforward procedure to be carried out within the lottery kiosk.
